ALMA English Institute is located in one of the finest areas of downtown Vancouver in the Southwest corner of British Columbia, and is forty kilometers north of the US border. Vancouver is widely accepted as one of the most beautiful cities in the world. It is a major port for international trade, commerce, and travel. With mountain ranges to the north and the Strait of Georgia to the West, the city is surrounded by nature. Due to the warm ocean current which flows past Vancouver, the city enjoys a mild climate year round, and never becomes too hot or too cold. Though mild, our winter months are rainy, and so umbrellas, rain jackets, and appropriate footwear are recommended.
