Student Medical Insurance

While Canada has nation-wide, government-run health insurance, it does not mean that you automatically have coverage. You should first see if you have health insurance that will adequately cover you while you are going to school in Canada. But remember, having some coverage does not ensure that it is adequate for your stay in Canada.

That is why ALMA English Institute requires all students to have a medical plan. If you do not have medical insurance from their home country, it can be applied for through ALMA at the time of registration.
