Registration Information

Registration for classes at ALMA English Institute is a simple process.

Students in Canada:

Complete the online application form and send it to us or just call us to book an interview and a placement test.

International Students:

1. Pre-Register
Complete the application form online, or download this form.
And either fax, or mail it to the school.

2. The "Letter of Offer"
A Letter of Offer will be sent to you with a complete application package for your program of interest. Full payment, including the registration fee, all applicable tuition, medical insurance and homestay fees (if applicable) are due along with the fully completed forms contained in this package.

3. The "Letter of Acceptance"
When the school receives the tuition payment, done by bank transfer, cheque, or credit card, you will then be sent a Letter of Acceptance as confirmation.

4. The Visa Process
International students require a Student Visa (Study Permit) if they plan to stay for more than 6 months. Student Visa application requires the letter of acceptance and the receipt of payment from the school. If the visa is refused, ALMA English Institute will reimburse the full amount of money initially sent to us, minus the registration fee.

5. Travel Plans
Students who need homestay and airport pick-up should inform the school as soon as their flight number and date are confirmed. Please notify the school of your flight arrival at least two weeks prior to departure.
